In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, our beloved Chef Albert Barrett—a cherished member of the Stella’s family and culinary community—has suffered unimaginable loss. His family home in Jamaica was devastated: one house completely destroyed, another lost its roof, and several family vehicles were totaled.

Albert has nourished our community with warmth, talent, and spirit. Now, it’s time we support his.

This is a direct aid fund. Every dollar donated will go straight to Albert and his family to help them rebuild their homes, regain stability, and recover from this life-changing event.

Your contribution supports:

  • Rebuilding housing on the family property

  • Replacing essential items and vehicles

  • Providing immediate financial relief to siblings and relatives displaced by the storm

We serve as an open platform to:

Monte Vivo Cultural Association: Revitalizing a historic Italian village through architectural restoration, cultural exchange, and rural development.

Earth Interface Books & Design Internships: Connecting global designers to explore ecological architecture, materials research, and storytelling.

Chef Relief Funds: Direct aid initiatives to support community members in crisis—like rebuilding after Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.

Youth Cultural Programs: Teaching art, architecture, ecology, and wellness through creative mentorship.
Our projects span across Italy, the United States, and Latin America, engaging artists, architects, educators, and local families to collaborate on deeply meaningful work.
